About me
Marlene Asuncion works as a State Resource Teacher at the Monitoring and Compliance Branch. She has been a teacher for 19 years at the middle and high school levels. Marlene has worn several different hats as a general education business teacher, special education department head, special education teacher in the community-based instruction classroom, and special education teacher in the inclusion and resource setting. Marlene has been able to put her experiences to good use as part of the MAC IDEA Team to provide technical assistance, develop policies and best practices, and resources to promote positive outcomes for students with disabilities.
