About me
Krysta Salon has worked within the field of education as a general education teacher, special education teacher, District Resource Teacher, and Hawai'i State Educational Specialist. Her work focuses on the improvement of inclusive practices for all learners including students with disabilities to improve access to and participation in the general education curriculum. In addition, Mrs. Salon provides guidance, professional learning, and leadership to the Hawai'i Department of Education at the Complex Area level and the school level to empower educators, administrators, and department leaders to create systemic change that will effectively support the learning needs of all of Hawai'i's students.
