About me
Kapu is passionate about Inclusive Practices within the Hawaii State Department of Education. As a State Office Resource Teacher, she works with schools and complex areas across all grade levels (elementary, middle, and high school) to embrace inclusive practices. Her focus is on ensuring neurodiverse learners, particularly those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), have the support they need to thrive and close the achievement gap. Kapu's core belief is that every student possesses unique talents that enrich the classroom. Her dedication lies in empowering educators to become facilitators who help students discover and develop their full potential.
