DaryleJean Woodard, a Wai'anae High School graduate, earned her BS (2006) in Bachelor's in Science w/dual cert in special education (K-12) from Chaminade University. She also holds a Master's Degree (2009) in Curriculum Studies (K-12) from the University of Hawai'i Manoa. Currently, "DJ" serves as the Holomua Transition Coordinator/Holomua Classroom Teacher. This is her third year at the high school level. Prior to joining WHS, DJ worked at Ma'ili Elementary for 28 years. She worked 12 years as a Educational Assistant, 16 years as a special education teacher, and 13 of those teaching years was in a Fully-Self Contained Setting for students in grades 3rd to 6th.
